1) Sam Allardyce, Cups ear, those Cup games, the Hoof and respecting the point in a drab draw
2) Gianfranco Zola, that Grin…….Even when losing away to Chelsea he was beaming as if he enjoyed it.
3) Glen Roader, How the fuck did we get relegated with that squad?
Others worth a shout, Pellegrini, seemed to take it easy, did he give a shit? Grant, didn’t have a clue! And Macari, what the fuck was that all about?

Allardyce by a country mile. He put a bunch of kids up for slaughter at Forest in the cup and the Boxing Day game at Chelsea where we gave up before getting on to the pitch are just 2 examples of his all round cuntishness.

I was lucky, brought with the brilliant John Lyall ,the bloke was a charismatic genius (he was too modest to admit it)and took Ron Greenwoods team to another level.
I feel blessed to have been lucky enough to see the decent years but I feel for my son who's seen about 8 managers in his 25 years supporting us and won fuck all.

Me too, Jac. In my first 20 years as a fan, I'd only seen two managers. I was most proud of that fact too, as other clubs were sacking managers left, right, and centre.
Then after 'arry, we became one of them.

Redknapp - yes it was exciting at times and he bought some good players but during the premierleague years where clubs could really establish and build a foundation for success he was too busy selling the image of a circus club run buy clowns because it suited his personality and limitations. The sheer volume of questionable transfers also raises an eyebrow.
Little old West Ham with the comedy manager who was always good for a sound bite in the press made us the real life version of Harchester United and it’s been hard to shake that tag.
After that Grant was just here for the money. There is something not right about that guy, his connections and his career. Im glad he left.
Pelligrini third - he promised so much, had us playing some great football and then signed Roberto and the rest is history.

Roader & Pellegrini joint top. Quite similar for me in that they had decent 1st seasons but was tons of signs there that it was flakey as fuck. I have no doubt we’d have gone the same way with Pellegrini had he’d not been fucked off.
